It's being worked on. I just don't like to put out any time line on release dates. But I will say that it will be out sometime this year! emoticon

I know. didnt want that to come off as a when release. emoticon love the time and effort that goes into all the tracks you guys make.

As great as the track is it just can't be used for simulating NASCAR's cup appearances like in 69, 31 cars raced that day, and when you include the player car that's 32, since this track can only fit 29 it's not useable.

Small nitpick as always, it's a cool looking track, just not useable as it should be like other Thompson tracks.

Thank you for always pointing the deficiencies in our tracks. I don't think we've ever built a track that has completely satisfied your stringent criteria. In fact, I'm not sure you've ever made a post here that didn't point out something negative about the subject you were writing about.

The track was not built or ever meant to be a replica of the track as it was for the NASCAR Races in 1969 and 1970. The pits were configured differently back in that day. If you took the time to read the README that came with the track it clearly states: "This NR2003 version of the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park is an attempt to closely resemble the track as it currently appears. It is not, however, an exact replica nor do the limits of NR2003 allow it to be." So there are many things about this version that do not comply with the 1969 and 1970 facility.

However, that being said, the limitations of NR2003 pretty much make it next to impossible to ever configure the pits for a short track to be accurate and like the real facility. That's why we put that disclaimer in the README for every track we ever produce.

Have fun using all of the other versions of Thompson that hold more cars in their pits, because it seems that that is your highest criteria for accuracy and "usability" of a track. That seems to be your standard "go to" critique of our work, because you could never write a "review" without pointing out something wrong. (rolls eyes)

It amazes me that you're willing to overlook any other deficiencies in those versions because they allow a higher car count.

It's people like you in this community that make us love spending hundreds of hours producing quality content for this sim.

Have a good day!

Not trying to spam up your page but I'll comment one more time on this.

I have the up most respect for anyone who makes a track, I understand it takes hours, weeks, months and even years to make one at some point. I wasn't saying your track was bad but merely not able for my use for 1969, but it still got my download because it is awesome and fun to race around it.

Do I complain when a track I think could be better? Yeah but I totally get why it doesn't because it is a short track.

I do honestly enjoy everything you guys put out, but I do have the right to do a small nitpick here and there, this time like I said not a major flaw, but noteworthy that can be written off.

Can't wait for your next track!
