ASA Mod

Hello my name is Matt Cross and this is my first post...my question is there a ASA mod out there that has the classic drivers like #88 Mike Eddy, #1 Mike Garvy, #7 Gary St. Amont, #23 Rick Beebe, Scott Wimmer, Butch Miller, Joey Miller, Chris Wimmer,Jay Sauter, Jim Sauter, Johnny Sauter and Tim Sauter, Reed Sorenson, Tim Steele, and David Stremme just to name a few. All I've found is the ASA 90's Mod and there is really no ASA drivers in this mod at all.

Can someone possibly create this Mod from scratch maybe. if you can that would awesome.

Well, you've kind of answered half of your question... the ASA90 mod has been made already as you mentioned you already have it. The mod and the models it has are excellent. However, no one in the community has made an actual ASA carset with the drivers you've mentioned above. Some of them are available at www.RacinGrafix.com https://www.racingrafix.com/forum/index.php?action=media;sa=album;in=4

If you scroll through the many cars available there, you will find a few of the ones you may be looking for.

I also noticed that Bill "Highbank" Harrison at the http://StunodRacing.net site has mentioned that he is working on a classic 1983 ASA Series Milwaukee carset that will likely include several of the drivers and cars you are looking for. http://stunodracing.net/index.php?threads/asa90-mod-1983-asa-series-milwaukee-car-set-project.6196/#post-59061

Also at Stunod, Simracer36 has painted a few classic ASA cars and it looks like he might be painting some more. http://stunodracing.net/index.php?resources/authors/simracer36.6294/

So there you have some resources to get you started. Unless you're willing to do the difficult and tedious research for pics of those cars and then sit down and paint them yourself, you're just going to have to wait until these other talented painters get them done.

I might suggest that perhaps you go over to Stunodracing.net, register and offer to help those guys out. emoticon

(Note. You may have to register at the sites linked above in order for many of those links to work.)
