AI Cutting Tires

I know some people have AI cut tires and be unable to save the car. I am just wondering on how to do this, or what to change in the .ini files to have a few AI cars blow tires here and there.
Would appreciate an answer thanks.

you can't have them cut tires. you can set AI tire wear to where they blow out maybe........ but AI run on tires, not fuel. I did a roadie AI several years ago and the AI ran out of gas on the track cause the tire wear was too low.

Re: AI Cutting Tires

You can trying editing your Papy_ai.ini.

Look for the "[mechanical]" section. Further down in this section look for the following line: "; mechanical problem chances, should total 100".

Under that line are various mechanical problems that can happen to you and the A.I. cars. You could raise the number for "tire_failure_chance = xx". However, keep in mind that all of these mechanical problems need to total 100%, so if you raise your percentage of tire failure by 10% (from say 25% to 35%), you'll need to lower one or more of the other items by an amount totaling 10%.

Be sure to backup this file first before making any changes just in case you want to go back to the original settings.
