Highbank's Trans Am Car Sets

--Log in or sign up to see linked image content--
It's my 1985 Trans Am car set for the ASA90 Mod (cts physics). After hundreds of hours of research and lots of days (73)of painting, here is the finished product. 45 cars with crews, and ratings developed by taking the results from the 1985's 15 race schedule. It's a good sized file (104mb)because the cars are all 2048 to keep them sharp.

I'm looking hard at the 2002 Trans Am right now, for the PWF-PTA mod, I'd like to see a full set for the mod that carries the Trans Am [sign in to see URL] is that instead of the Panoz we have a [sign in to see URL] the T/A champ that year, Boris Said drove a Panoz, except the last race where he drove a [sign in to see URL] I'm finding some great photos for this one, a far cry better from what was available for the 1985 set. AND they are all color photos too!
Some of the cars in the original car set are meant to represent these and the following year's cars I believe, but they are not really accurate.

UPDATE: I've moved to 2003 for the next set, the Panoz issue pretty much goes away in 2003, the only issue that really remains is how do I do the Camaros?

Got to figure something out there.

Yes, I've seen that as well, for the 2003 I want to stick with the PWF-PTA because 2003 is in the Jaguar heyday and the Jag is perfect in the mod. I'll be playing with making some templates for the Panoz and Camaro to see which works best. I'd like to use the Mustang just so there is more variety in the set, there will be lots of Jaguars and corvettes as it stands.

There is at least one Panoz in 2003 as I've looked at the race list so far. I think there may be a Mangusta as well.

Re: 1985 Bendix Trans Am Car Set (ASA90 Mod)

Feel a little better, my mom suffered a struck so I drove to Kentucky (from California (2,200 miles) and sadly when I got there, she no longer knew who I was. The stroke and her Alzheimer's erased me from her memory. After a short visit, we drove back, it was a very devastating day.

I have ben trying to get immersed in painting to help the healing, it's difficult to stay focused.

On the more up [sign in to see URL] mod has received 338 downloads to date, I am humbled and amazed that so many folks find this something they'd like to use. Very pleased.

The 2003 set bumps along more slowly, slower than the '85 set because the cars are more involved, and maybe because they are similar to some of those included in the mod (I believe they are 2004 cars)that slows me down, trying to make sure I don't redo what they did.

I just need to get one done again and they will roll out from that...
